what's up all, just have a couple of questions.

1. does anyone know how a 205/55 fits on the stock se wheel? sidewall in relation to lip of rim? I read on another thread that the width of the tire should be slightly smaller than the width of the rim. I noticed that on the drift mag that I have, the tires are also like that, and they recommend 195-205/55-60's. but I need a compromise with grip because I am an autox/roadracer, looking to experiment and have some fun, so I would like to make sure their almost even with the wheel lip.

2. I am going to go with a full coilover setup, but I don't want to be all drift. I've almost decided to go with JIC, but I was wondering what is the difference between a 'normal' coilover setup, such as flt-a2, and a 'drift spec' setup, such as the tein he's. can anyone shed some light on this?

also, if you use the tein drift spec, is it adjustable enough to grip drive? can I just get the JIC's and set it stiff in the rear and softer up front to drift, and even it up a bit for grip?

check spring rates for the coilover differences, the MFR sites can provide lots of information, as I remember the flta2 and HE use the same spring rates, and are both fully adjustable pretty much....

On the tires, a 205-55-15 is listed in the MAST fitment guide as a propper plus-0 sizing, and offers some sticky tires like the sp8000 by dunlop and other v to Z rated tires.-chet

thanks chet, I noticed that the spring rates are very similar, and between the flt-a2's and the teins the difference was supposed to be a longer threaded shock body, but both of them have that, and the spring rate was only of about 1-2lbs.

what is that MFR thing again?
