I just went down to the dealer to seriously check out the FX's... they were closing in a few min so I didn't get a chance to drive one, but I did get to sit in it... so much more room than my 01 Pathfinder!

Anyway... the tipstick has you push forward to shift up and pull back for shifting down, does anywone know the mechanism for how this works? I was wonding how hard it would be to reverse the shifting so it's pull back for shifting up and pushing forward for shifting down. Anyone know? Sequencial gearboxes are this way and it makes the most since to me... thanks in advance.

Can't wait to start work so I can find out what my discount is... that's the deciding factor between a 35 and a 45 right now... such a smooth looking and sitting vehicle! Now I just have to drive one

its all electronic, youd have to change it in the TCM most likely... Either that, or if theres sensors that detect the position of the shifter, you could just reverse them......

heres the wiring diagram... you could switch stuff around if you wanted to....

Thanks for the diagram that's great!

Looks like if 4 and 14 might be able to be switched if they are the same kind of plug... b/c those get the info from the A/I device so if they are switched that should do the trick... what do you think? Where is this located?

It just makes since from what I'm use to... BMW's are that way and so are sequential gearboxes...

Thanks let me know what you find out! Merry Christmas!
