Hey guys, I really feel like building my car from the ground up. Money's an issue too; but let's put that aside. I think tommorow im gonna clean out my stock radiator(lotta dead bugs from cross-country road trips) w/ a hose(is that ok?) and buy a grill to prevent rock deforming(some grill fro home depot...prolly less than $5). Although once i get that done im gonna be on a home depot craze. I was thinking about building my own CAI and just buying a K&N Filter to top it off. What else can I do w/ home depot? Anyone have any lists/instructions of supplies they used for building a CAI? any help would be appreciated. Feel free to post any stuff you did w/ home depot(engine, exterior, interior, you name it!)-Galen

P.S. I have a 92 Hatch..so tips for that gen would be great!

There was a guy in the ka24 engine forum that did a home depot CAI, forgot what the thread was called though.

You can buy mandrel bent stainless from JCWhitney for pretty cheap. I would use that for a DIY CAI.
