Tips on Sr20 Stroking,cams,flywheel and tips on improving!! from South africa!!

Hi Guys

Well im busy building probaply the fastest N\a sr20 in south africa!!Ther is no real hand guides or local performance guys who specialise in the sr20 motors,

Im going to put in some forged piston, im not sure what cams to use we use regrinds!!! 272" which seems to work nice cause they idle lime a standard motor. esspecially comapred to my friends Vauxhall Superboss he has 272 in standard and it idles rough!!!

Any tips caus only with the cams,branch and exhaust it makes about 130Hp on the wheels, and runs 15's on the 1\4 mile but remember thats in South-Africa so were higher up and we have crapper feul..

Can you get ahold of SR20VE motors? 130whp seems kinda low for a cam'd sr20. Guys in the states are getting 150+ with cams, header, exhaust and intake. I would recommend Jim Wolf Technologies latest cams, S5 for NA motor. 75 shot does wonders too.

Well you see i think its the altitude were at, a previose car that was build made 160Whp with imprted cams,88 300zx pistons,ans,, and ran 14,6 and99mph and our feul is wery crappy ,our racing feul is 102 Octane

im thinking of getting a jwt c2 cams, i dont car for the low revs,, and a flywheel and maybe solid lifters.

Here is no support at all when it comes to tuning sr20's everybody does the crap out of hondas v-techs and toyotas and Volkswagens???

Wel we still beat them with only 130Hp

Doe you have any tips in what helps on improving ,piston sizes ans,, id really appreciate it aswell as your seeing on cams S5 or C2 i want max.i cant get hold of the sr20ve motor here,,
