We just pulled my son's 92 240sx transmission for a clutch job, and the rear main oil seal is now exposed, begging to be replaced. It seems to have been put in there with concrete, and I don't want to screw up the block metal trying to get it out. Any suggestions?

Uh never mind. Persistance and careful prying did the trick. I would strongly suggest replacing this seal when you replace the clutch.

Aren't you supposed to be able to pry them out with like a screwdriver or something?
