I wanna get tints on my 240 since here in IL we are allowed to have 35% all around and 6inch on the Front Windshield

My question is has anyone encountered problems removing the film on the rear windshield? The windshield has the little defrost lines and those are a must for winters here. WIll putting film over them harm or disrupt them? what about on removal does the film pull the lines or something? I dont wanna damage the defrost but I want the tints.....any help appreciated

applying window tint to the rear window won't affect the defroster. removing it won't pull the lines off, but you can f*** them up if you try and do it with a razor blade.

Spray down the inside of the window with a window cleaner that has ammonia in it. Don't wipe it off. Then tape a black garbage bag to the inside on the window then leave it sitting in the sun for a day. This should make the tint bubble up then you'll be able to peel it off easily.
