I know the legal is 35% but you can definately see right through that.

Here are my options.

30% all around - Doesnt get caught as much20% all around - if I DO get caught, the fine is all the same, so might as well put on the 20% but it's def darker and more likely to be pulled over for.

Also, i am considering getting even darker tints for the little back windows.

Any advice or suggestions? please help guys!

thanks in advance.

I have a silver coupe and I got 20% all around and def. would not rec. anything darker. I have taken all my cars to D&L Window Tinting in White Marsh and have always had good luck until now. I went there and there was alot of bubbles and sometimes they have to use a heat gun and ended up melting a little rubber trim. I took it back again and I still have bubbles. It seems to be a bunch of little punk kids working there. I would NOT rec. taking it to them, but would say go with 20%. Good luck.

i thought you could legally have 20% on all back windows, 25% on passenger front window, and 35% on front driver window? when i got my Ford Bronco II tinted like 5 years ago, thats what was legal....i wonder if it has changed since then

Trucks have different laws than cars do. 35% is legal for Maryland.

I'm in CT, was pulled over by a state cop for speeding, he noticed the tint, said I should get it fixed but no fine for that. He did give me the speeding ticket.

Other than that no problems and I've been running 20% all around since October, personally I wouldn't want a lighter tint.

I have had 20% on all cars for years and never had a problem. Your problem my come in if you get pulled over for something else and then they notice your tint or if you ever have to get your car inspected, it won't pass.

There are a few G35 guys getting their windows tinted this saturday.

heres the address to the tint shop15919 frederick rdrockville, md 20855

If you are interested - go the G35 forum - under DC,Maryland Area owners - to get more details. If you have trouble finding the thread let me know. The guy who has the tint hook-up just got pulled over and had to remove his tint.

35% tint is legal - but it becomes illegal when applied because factory glass has a small amount of tint. My car - with 35% tint allows between 28 and 32% light transmission depending on the window.

If you apply 30% all around - your windows will transmit less than that - probably in the mid to high 20s.

If you have a dark car or dark interior then it may make your tint appear darker that it really is.

Good Luck.
