Ive always loved the look of tinted taillights on cars and ive been thinking about doing it to mine but I havent seen any pics of it done to pathfinders.

I did it on my S10 and it came out really good, and pathfinder taillights would be easy to do. Ill probobly end up doing it even if I dont find pics.

Theres to many freaking silver pathfinders here, mine blends in to much. lol

jcpathy69 (i think thats his name) did it to his blue pathfinder and it looks freakin awesome search around for him his sig shows it

as for tinting the stock pathy tails...goood luck. slickroger is hesitant to try it and he did a damn good job tinting his whole front lighting system. I mean its worth a shot but its a very big curve so your tint skills better be there (and looking at that s10 id say you can do it!)

my tails are alteezas but came smoked. most people ask if i tinted them but their just that way! during the day they look almost completely dark, but dont affect the light output at all. they look pretty sweet in my opinion but some members here didnt like them. Roger has the regular alteezas which dont have the chrome inside just black which look pretty neat too, heres a pic below of 3 nico members to compare? (to give you an idea)

in order....slickroger, Qxxx4 (me), AJRK

I did it on my pathy with niteshades spray (jegs.com) and then put several coats of clear over it. Been on there for 2 years or so now and looks just as good as day one.

Hobby Lobby!? I'm not sure if they're gonna have NiteShades... I'd also recommend going with an automotive clear paint. I used some acrylic spraypaint once and after a few months it turned hazy and yellow and looks BAD!!!

I also used that same product on my lifted past Cherokee. It turned out perfect. That stuff IMO def works better than trying to find those goofy black plastic covers (no offense to anyone). I dont think tinted taillights look good on ALL vehicles and depends on colors. But Id say go for it, that will look sick on your silver pathy!

Yeah Hobby Lobby has RC car tint crap that I used on the S10, I sold the truck to my brother and it still looks like that after a year.

x2 on the niteshades. You can buy it in eBay pretty cheaply.

I am not one for mini-trucks, but that is one awesome looking truck. Very well done without going overboard. The little car behind it was bothering me so I got rid of it.

Looks good. I like the way you tinted the reflectors on the bumper as well.

I just bought some of the Niteshades stuff. Did you guys clear your lenses after using it?

Spray paint mission sounds like fun
