I have a '08 Altima and I recently tinted my tail lights. They put on smoke film on my tail lights. For some reason , when the tints were applied , the tints looked a little dark olive green from up close but looks light black or gray from far away . I went to some other shop and they said when you put on a layer , the tints will look a little bit olive green but when you double layer it , then it would look black or smoked . I wonder if this is true and is this normal that the first layer of tints on my tail lights will look olive green.

I see some other cars and their tinted tail lights actually looks black , but my tint film has that dark olive green colorway . Can other people with tinted tail lights on their Altimas help me out ?

Hey buddy I just installed a pair of Blue Batmobile's overlays in 3/10 tint. I just posted a thread in the coupe section of this forum.

thats how the smoked tint kind of looks.. if your looking for a darker black look get the charcoal color. or black out. it will be darker and look black. i have smoked on my tails and the film on the roll looks kinda greenish but its smoked .
