TINTED WINDOWS !!?? your opinion please

im getting tints on my car next week im not sure what percent yet i wanna hear from my nico friends first so please recomend me what percent u think is worth getting ....5% is a no go by the way ..i am allergic to policia

I got 35% and like it. It's not too dark to affect night vision but dark enough to get rid of some glare.

I have 25% on the back 3 and 35% on the front windows (not windshield) and moving down to 5% all around pretty soon. Since you aren't going 5% I would go with 25%, It's a nice level I think, you can still see at night (although it is still tinted) and not too dark during the day to attract the popo

30-35 is the best trust me no 5-0 n it look hott n u can actually c at nite

i have 20% all around except windshield. i've had 35% on the front and imo it's def too light for my taste. i've had the 20% for about 2 months now and haven't been bothered yet. *knocks on wood*

I got 35% around done for my old Altima and still got ticketed.

35% tint all-around looks nice.

or 35% in fronts and 20% in rears.

I believe my fronts are 37% with the factory glass brings it down to 35% ..so says the place that installed it. and the rear is 20%. no problems and looks great.

i know the 5% is a no go for you...but for the California sun...I went with 5% in the back and 70% in the front...

I'm at 20% (or maybe 25%) for the back three and 35% for the front two. The 20% is perfect but I'd like to redo the fronts to match...

20% all around here, no windshield tint.

Im in Suffolk too, cops wont bother you unless your driving like a jerkoff.

are you SURE 5% is illegal? i know here in cali you can get the back 3 as dark as you want but you can't tint the windshield and the 2 windows that roll down. if i were you i'd look into it because i NEVER heard of 5% being illegal for the back 3 windows. i have my back 3 windows 5% and have never had any issues with the police because i'm in my legal rights. i dont have the 2 roll down windows tinted because it would be illegal but even so, they have a factory tint and with the back 3 being 5%, it gets pretty dark inside the car, its just right for me

20% only way to go, even on rolldown windows. I can clearly tell the difference between people with 35's and 20's now that i've been in my 20s for a while ... 35's just look sssoooooo light during the day =/

I have 5% on the back 3, and 35 on the front 2... but I think I may end up going darker on the front because 35 just seems too light during the day with the Cali sun...

i have 20 all around and i love it. No problems with the cops yet. 30-20 looks best on black cars with black intirior

Im 20% all around....right when the sun starts to go down ur face can not be seen its so nice ver recommended.btw my friend has 30 % and u can still kinda see his face

do not

i repeat

do NOT get 35%...that is a waste...its to light..you can see right through it day or night..defeats the purpose of getting your windows tinted

if your worried about cops..you should look and see what shops offer tints between 20 and 35%....maybe 25%

i have 30 percent on front and 15 percent on back. 30 percent used to be the legal limit until they changed it yet again.

If you want something dark enough and not to be hassled by the cops, get the the sides and the back as dark as you want and leave the windows with the lightest tint they have. It will still give the same effect, but no tickets...

i wish i got 20% although i do like how i can see better at night.......still miss dark tint.......looks sweeeeeeettttttt
