Ok so i have been doing a little research and since i know that i am not going to get the JDM spec Gloria taillights at $1100...i am looking at maybe smoking the taillights

I have seen a couple of you guys on here with smoked tailights and was wondering what do you use??

My 1st option:A product called VHT Nite Shade....a DIY project where you spray the lights yourself, i have seen a few people do it and it not come out that bad

My 2nd Option:I have seen a tint that is a thicker more durable version of window tint and people use that...and has looked very good....i have only seen the kits avaliable for the current generation of M35/M45 not the 03/04 model year...of course!!!

So there you have it if anyone can give me some help or knows where or can do this.....your help would be greatly appreciated

I tried this on one of my other cars, it was very hard. And it didn't come out that good at all. Eventually removed it, I still have 1 and 1/2 bottles left. Let me know how it turns out if you do it this way. Too much little **** gets on it.

one guy had a DIY instruction where like after each coat you have to wet sand...like 5 times depending on the darkness you want. I might try the thick tint stuff and buy like a bulk sheet and see if one of these tint places around here could do it

Ok so i experimented with some old lights i had hanging around from a car i traded in.. with the DHT NightShade....that stuff is so hard to work with...it has potential...but the end result is not high quality and looks kinda runny...all in all dont try this at home unless your a professional
