Hi all! I would like to seek your input on what tint percentage I should get for my altima. It is colored Winterfrost. Any suggestions are welcome

Here are your tint laws:HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN ARIZONA?Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Arizona, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window. • Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. • Front Side Windows Must allow more than 33% of light in. • Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used. • Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

I would probably to 20% all around.

If you can get all around that would look the nicest. around here front windows aren't allowed any tint so i did a blend, 25% in the back and 35% on the rear corners which looks nice, but i'd rather have all around.

With winterfrost, go as dark as you dare to go, it'll look smooth

Just tinted my windows today 20% all around (except for front windshield of course) and it looks great during the day. a whole lot less light coming in yet great visibility. I haven't driven it at night so ill update tommorow on how night driving is

Thanks everyone! This is the first car that I own and I want to make sure that I don't mess up a single step along the way. Even though I would like to have 5% all around, I think doing 20% would suffice since the front has to be 33%.

well its obviously not as easy to reverse out with tinted windows at night depending on the light sources around your area. One thing i did find out yesterday to be quite bothersome is fogged up and tinted rear windows do not go together. Now that i think about it its just that back window that gives me visibility problems with the tint. the side doors and quarter windows are perfectly fine tinted

im getting tired of my 35/25 tint. my front windows are way too light. Im planning on going 15 all around, if it's too hard to see all i have to do is roll down my windows

I finally got my tint a few weeks ago. I got limo all around. It does kinda suck at night but I am getting acclimated. During the day it is a blessing!

TRUST me on this one i have had 20% on my last can and my sis has 5% and nither are good i have i believe 30-35% donebyt the dealer. This is perfect bc its not too much. m The main problem about having it darker is nighttime. It is alot harder to see things when turning. ut again its all preferance

And if you want LESS atention from the cops 30-35% is PERFECT bc i ave been pulled over about 5-6 times in this car and have yet to get asked about my int/ get a ticket. On my last car where i had 20% i was asked by 2 cops about my tint but didnt get anything bc my dad is a cop and its registered for him.

Good Luck Hope tha helped.....i know it should

Well in the daytime, looking straight in from the driver/passenger door, you can barely tell it's tinted, everything in my car is plainly visible (except the backseat)I wanted 5% originally but got the 25/35 due to me not wanting my car to be a cop magnet. I can't hide from them anymore there is something illegal on every side of my car (front: no license plate side: window tint rear: non reflective taillights)

I don't want people to be able to look into my car when I'm not there. I never leave anything of value in plain sight but just the thought of someone else leaving something (wallet, ipod etc) or when I get my headunit. I don't want anyone I don't know to know I have it.

i'm totally with you on this one. I didn't want to get too dark of tint in front and get pulled over by the cops. so I ended up getting 35 in the front, and 5 on the back 2 small windows n rear. but after a while, it just looks to light for my taste. and i want to get it darker, but man, sum cops can be real d!ck sometimes.

oo. i see. but at night, your windows look dark right? is there any kind of tints or way to keep tints from turning purple? a few of my friends have had this problem.also, would you happen to know any reputable places that do tints in the new york/ new jersey area?

I have winterfrost and had 20% on the back and sides 35% on the windshield. Took me a good year before I got pulled over for it. Cops hated me as it was so I took off all of it besides the driver window. Now that I moved across the country I plan on getting it all redone. Anyone know a good and cheap tint shop in Seattle? ha.
