Tint Question

Alright in Delaware the back 3 windows can be 5% and the front 3 have to be 25% or more. I asked some people if 5% on the back 3 and 25% on the rest would look good and most said no. I was wondering what I should do. I dont want to get all of them 5% because Im not paying 250 to get pulled over all the time and have to take it off when I get to the DMV anyway. So what would look the best on my versa?

it should look fine i dont see anything wrong with it. cops should trip too much besides 5% in the front is too dark for my taste.

I am in the group that says different levels of tint on the same car doesn't look good. Why not go with 25% all around. IMO 5% is too dark on any car anyway. Looks too "gangsta."

I agree. It would look cleaner if you used the same tint all the way around. 25% would be plenty dark to suit your purposes.

In a similar fashion, I've got the dilema that IL doesn't allow for any tint on the front windows, so I'm debating whether it's worth tinting my windows at all.

I will agree that I don't like having the back door windows darker than the front door windows and that the 5% may not be the look that you are going for, but I do like having the back window slightly darker than the side windows. My car is 20% on the back, 25% on the four side windows and ~50% on the windshield (makes a HUGE difference on heat and is hardly noticeable from outside). The windows look fairly uniform.

where i live you cant have the front sides tinted at all so I see alot of people slightly tinting them and the back windows are dark as hell. so im use to seeing the back windows darker then the fronts. looks good to me. but ya seeing all the windows the same tint looks nicer.

The interior car of the V also played a role in the overall visuals of a custom tint. Mine has 35% tint on front windows and 20% on rear windows, including the back and as far as I'm concerned, just right & safe for night driving, and kept the entire car cool on hot summer days - while keeping contents in the backseat safe from curious eyes.

The custom tint shop offered these so that I'm staying within NY's legal limit as they also do law enforcement[s unmarked cars, but at a darker side tint.
