I got a quote today of $330 for Formula One Pinnacle tint 35% on front sides, rear sides, and rear window. I'm not looking to go too dark and the car I saw with this on it looked about right. Is this a decent price for the tint?

Thats pretty expensive... I paid $150 35% for the fronts and 20% rear. Plus I have lifetime warranty. But be careful of cheap places. My roommate got his tints done for $100 for 5 windows and it started to fade after maybe 2 months

I would say $150-200 for the entire job at a quality shop is reasonable. I had my previous car done for $150 back in 2006. The dealer offered to tint my G for $299 back in December. Anything above that would be an obscene price since the dealer normally tends to be at the upper end of accessory pricing.

+1

I completely agree. anything above $150~200 is too much.

I'm originally from Hawaii where EVERYONE needs tint and you can find tint shops EVERYWHERE! A good solid job would run about $120 or so with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, I now live in Oregon where shops are far and few between. The going rate at a reputable shop out here is around $200 but luckily I got a company rate at $159 for Lumar 35% with a lifetime warranty.

I agree that $200 is a reasonable figure. Not sure about the sedan being more. When I had the 08 G37 done the installer vowed to charge more for the next G Coupe after twisting his back into knots to do the back glass. He wasn't a happy camper(installer).

I looked around a few months ago and found that it would cost $180 for the BACK windows ONLY. Two other nearby shops wanted $299 for the rear only. I went without because those prices seemed so ridiculous to me. I mean, how long could it take to tint just the back windows?
