tint or no tint

the previous owner had the back and the side windows tinted... both the driver and passenger doors are not... the more i look at it, i just feel like it's not right.. so either i'll get both front windows tinted ( which is a big no-no here in cali ) or just remove the whole tint... been looking at other members ride with and without tint.. what do you guys and 99QX4 prefer?

I ran my car with just the back windows tinted for a while. Had to throw tint on the fronts as well as the visor. Looks 100 times better.

Tint is a must for looks.

Legal NC tint on the coupe. Would like to do the sedan next.

Is the tint job the same when you order the car with tint as it is if you have them install it after you buy the car?I didn't get tint with mine (they couldn't source the car I wanted that had tint), and am thinking of getting it done (I get a company discount)...

You can get lighter tint. It is legal with lighter tint. I think the tint guy told me. 15% tint is legal, but no darker than that.

CA tint laws suck. No tints on the front windows but as dark as you like on the rear. I'm in Socal too and I have 35% fronts and 20% rear. Looks awesome.

well, decided to go clean and took off the tint... for some reason, the g seems to be a bit faster 0- 60... i knew that tint was slowing me down...

Yes, I like my tint too, but in NC the max tint is something like 32% light emittance so you get 35% which I would prefer just a bit darker!
