Tint headlights/tailights on M45?

I am looking to tint the tail and headlights on my 07 M45. I have read guides for using VHT nite shades to do it, but Im a little hesitant to sand and paint my lights.

Is this a good option? I wouldnt mind paying somebody to do this, but not sure who to go to or what a decent cost to do it would be.

I bought that ebay tint and its junk. Doesnt fit properly. That pre cut just doesnt work. Best way to do it is have a body shop put some PPG black on them. I have my SS like this but I got it really dark. They can do it light also. My buddy is really busy right now so soon as he gets free Im gonna let him do mine. Night Shade works also but best results is add clear coat to it so it has that gloss and shine. Otherwise it will be dull looking. Only way to do the headlights is remove the lense and paint the inside. Otherwise rock chips takes over and it wont look good.
