I set my timing to aprox. 17-18 deg btdc, it feels great but in about 2-3 mins it looses a little power up top and i recheck the timing to find its dialed back to about 22 btdc... Is my car changing the timing for some reason? How does it do this? and how can i stop it? It sputters @ full throttle under load with timing like this ...

It is throwing a knock code but I know it isnt really knocking. It's actually missing b/c the retarted timing. Can I run w/o the sensor to see if thats the issue? I know some cars go into limp mode without it...
