ok so i think somehow my timing is retarded...the car is running sluggish.

im going to adjust the timing of the distributor myself back to stock settings but i just thought id make sure before i did it.

the stock timing for the ka24de is 20bdtc. i checked the faq and its the line furthest to the right where the timing needle is pointing. so when i start the timing light and set it to 20, the timing needle should be pointing toward that line (20 - stock ka24de timing) correct?

thanks.

I guess you didn't set the timing light to 20 if you lined it up with 20 and it ran better. You should have set the light to 0 and lined it up with 20, or you could have had the light at 20 and the notch at 0, the notch is supposed to be red, second from left.
