Timing?

Any help on timing issues with KA24DEt, how much is should be retarded in relation to boost? Also is it really benificial to buy the MSD boost retard system, or just retard it yourself...anyone used the pocketlogger system yet here to monitor timing acuratly while under boost??? as many other things while driving?

the msd retarder is **** do not use it if you want to keep your moto together it is better to retard it yourself. but this does not comletly save you.
