Hey, everyone i have a 1994 maxima GXE does anyone know how to adjust the timing is there a plug that i need to disconnect so the computer does not advance it thanks

You need what they call a Consult I or II, more then likely you"ll need the Consult II due to the fact yours is an early 90's maxima.

Ebay's the best bet. Consult devices are pricey, though.

Just out of curiosity, why are you looking to change the timing?

Iposted earlier that the car is shutering now there is no power. i changed the cap rotor wires plugs fuel filter and i thought the timing could be off

Are you throwing any codes, have you checked the MAF, or IACV.
