timing being off , could this cause my car to not start?

That is one of the million things that could cause your car not to start.

Your battery not being hooked up can be a cause of your car not being able to start.

You have to throw out some more information.

Yeah it could. Did you mess with the timing at all? If the car was running and now its not, and you didnt change the timing, then this is not your problem.

Well I have done Everything else that I can think of (read my other forum) to start my car and, it just does not want to start. So yeah any way my timing was off but I reset it and it still didn't start. I just though it was that because my car was bogging so I turned it off then it wouldn't start. One more thing say Like three of my injectors weren't spraying would it start then.

Your car starting with only 1 out of 4 cylinders is not likely.
