Step by step on how to do the timing. I'm not sure this is correct. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Pull plug on tps sensor2. Start car3. Set idle to 800 rpm with the idle air adjustment screw4. Set timing to 15 deg.(second line from the right of the crank pully)5. Put the tps plug back in while the car is running.

Thats it. NOW PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG

I don't understand why everyone says to disconnect the TPS plug. Even the FSM doesn't list doing that. EC-33 of the S14 SR FSM lists ignition timing the exact same way I did in that link

Off the top of my head:The S14 FSM says to rev to 2k for 2 minutes, let idle a minute. Turn off engine, disconnect TPS, start engine and rev to 2-3k or something a couple times and then check timing.

That's probably close, but not exact, i don't know why it needs a procedure like that... It does say to disconnect the TPS though.
