Car running very strong but, today I decided to check the timing so I checked and was on 3rd white mark on crank pulley at Idle which is 10 degrees right? Thought the ECU up-grade might have threw it off so I checked in stage 1 and stage II but, both were 10-12 degrees at idle. Checked for codes and got 55 twice so no codes stored in ECU thought might have a code 34 waiting for me! Had the consult done last month and 15 degrees at idle and no KS codes in consult! Car is running stronger than ever! Do you think it may have jumped time some how or another? Give information before I check into it tomorrow!

are you using the loop near ignitor pack with inductive probe? try it MANY times before concluding. I can get readings 10 degrees apart (but always the same two readings separated by 10 degrees). will do this with 2 different timing lights, both read the same, but both have the 10 deg shift sometimes.

if you use the loop method, you can actually time off of either bank. You pick up 1 on the left bank, and 6 on the right bank.
