Just finished a timing chain job, and I need to set the timing. the timing was all whacked out before I even started, so it's even worse now! What exactly do I do in order to set timing? My dad has a timing light, I just don't know what all I need to do for this car. I've heard about unplugging something called the TSP plug? What is that? Sorry for my automotive retardation...we all start somewhere. A simple step by step would be nice. Thanks!

i'm having some major timing problems too...

but to get her running, first you set the #1 piston to TDC then you make sure your distributor is set at the #1 plug. at least, that's what i understand and i've done that, but can't even get mine started.

i'm having major timing issues..
