timing problems please help

hey guys i just replaced the timing chain in my 1993 hb. But now i am stuck on the timing. if anyone knows how to fix it please tell me.

EEEk What is happening? nothing? If you followed the instructions correctly it shouldn't be a problem.

I just did mine and it popped right on. Are u sure you did the distributor remove and reinstall correctly?

if the distributor timing is what your stuck on then bring cylinder 1 to TDC on compression stroke. then look where the distributor goes. there should be a shaft that runs across the timing chain cover and goes to your oil pump. if your truck is a 93 then you should have the same oil pump/distributor shaft. on the top of the shaft should be a half moon looking shape. the flat side of this 'half moon' sould be facing upwards at an angle. the flat side should be at about 11:30 o'clock. if it dosnt then fix that, then when that is done, with the distributor on the rotor should be at about 5 o'clock i think. that is cylinder 1. the firing order is 1-3-4-2. after that i would recommend timing it with a timing light. if your having trouble with the cam timing, cam gear, chain, all that good stuff i can help you with that to along with pics.
