Timing Problem with my KA24DE

I have a KA24DE.... I had the entire top block replaced... and guy doing the work took off the head....had all the parts replaced and put it back on with the chains where they were before... the engine wont crank over...it seems like it wants to start but it wont... I NEED HELP....

Are you absolutly sure the cam timing is correct?

Do you have fuel and spark? Is distributor set correctly?

first things first...Never let anyone else work on your car

Take off the timing cover and rotate the motor by hand... make sure the timing marks on both the intake and exhaust cams are in the proper location when the Crank mark is lined up with it's timing mark.

Second with the motor at TDC on the compression stroke make sure that the distributor is pointing at the number 1 Ignition wire

Check to make sure the wires are in the proper firing order
