WELL, ITS NOT IGNITING SO MUST BE IGNITION (RIGHT) I THINK

BUT, I BELIEVE I SLIGHTLY TURNED THE CRANK OFF A BIT,

WHAT ARE SOME BASICS TO GETTING THIS THING TIMED AGAIN...

ok, shes all back together and wont start right? turn crank to tdc and pull valve cover. both valves should be closed. that means your on the intake stroke. if not turn the crank 360 and see if that helps. now are the valves closed? where do the cam sprocket notches point? what about the little dots? some dont have the dots.

where would the notches be on the cam sprockets?

and when your on the intake stroke, does that mean that both valves are pushing the cylinders down?

tdc is when you take the first spark plug out and its at the highest point if u stick something down in the hole(feeling the stroke come up) is that a way?

The notches are little round dimples on the sprocket under one tooth. Some sprockets have 2 dimples, though, look for a dowel pin under one if that's the case. The valves don't push on the piston. On the intake stroke the intake valve is open and the exhaust valve is closed, but there might be a little overlap, so at top dead center both valves might be slightly open. The exhaust will close as the motor begins to turn.Find TDC with the marks on the crank pulley. Going with something in the spark plug hole will get you close, but the marks will get you exact.
