This problem didn't start until after I installed teh intercooler, vacuum lines and BOV and then retimed it.

When I first tested the motor bare everything worked fine and she was puring like a champ.

After the installation and retiming it now runs on 3 cylinders.

I followed the FRSport Guide on doing the timing except to line up the 2nd from the left mark on the pulley.

I'm getting spark on all 4 coils and all 4 injectors are working. However the spark plug on cy 4 (Closest to firewall) isn't firing at all. All 3 other firing cylinders have carbon buildup on the plugs and are dry fouled.

Could it be that timing is off and thats whats causing the misfire and unburnt fuel?

Why would you retime it, if it was already timmed fine?

But anyhow, sounds like you need to retime it, and double check your grounds, and wiring to the ignitor, and coilpack.

Is the spark on #4 a strong spark? I've seen bad wiring and faulty ignitors cause weak spark on isolated coil packs before.

Checked all wiring already and everything is good.

The 4th coil is definately getting a strong *** spark alright.I tried putting the plug back in while wearing rubber gloves and I still got shocked from no contact!

All grounds are where it should be as well.

One thing I should mention is that the alternator is on its way out. It doesnt like to work unless the car revs to 4 - 5k

I timed it with both marked chains on teh cam marks. The only thing I didn't do was check for the pulley marks . Will it really affect it?

Thanks
