I just changed my timing chain yesterday did everything I was supposed to but for somereason my car wont start at all anymore. My battery light is on but all my little gizzmoes work (lights, radio, amp) when I turn the key it tries to turn but something and then it stops. I turn the key and again it goes for a second or two and stops. I did it again and it tries to start and and the last sound of the turn over was really loud. first instinct I'm thinking timing whatcha think?

sounds like a valve may be trying to inhabit the space that a piston has dibs on.

Your battery light should be on when the key is on but the car isn't. Did you have the engine at TDC when you put together the new timing assembly? If so, did you line up the silver links on the chain with the dots on the sprockets?

If not, you got a lot of work ahead of you.
