hey guys i went and got a new timing belt and i got it put on but when i get got it TDC with the new belt on the cam gears wont line up perfectly. each cam gear mark isnt even a tooth off.(the marks on the backing plate are right in between each tooth) i can get 2 gears perfectly lined up but the other two are just off by a little bit. and the crank gear is a bit off its mark to. and i have the tensioner so its not tensioned at all and the belt is still tight when i put it on. and the tensioner wont actually put any tension on the belt. any suggestions?

The marks on the back plate are just guides assuming your right at tdc. Align the belt with the marks on the cams and sprocket they all have a little dot on them to indicate where the mark should line up.

If the tension on the belt, without the tensioner touching it, is already tight, I'd be worried that somebody gave you the wrong belt. I'd remove it and start by first checking that is has the correct number of teeth. I believe it's suppose to have 228 teeth. Check the technical manual. It also lists the correct number of teeth between each pulley. Also verify that the belt has the correct pitch for that number of teeth (hence the overall length).

Like mentioned above, dont worry too much about the marks on the backside of the cover. As long as all the cam alignment marks line up with the marks on the timing belt and the crank mark you are fine. The 4 cam marks will be somewhat close together and then one mark spaced apart is the one for the crank.
