timing marks???

Thanks to a post by mike09 i may konw what is causing my problem...i have a slight idea of what to look for when trying to time my motor. but can anyone describe it again to me...or better yet maybe send me a picture at [email protected]. and tell me about where to set it to. I have a 1993 240sx with sr20det in it. Thanks!

ignition timing you need a timing gun..then aim it at the crank pulley and you'll see 6 marks..the needle must be at the second mark from the right...15degrees btdc
