Theres this timig kit o ebay for like 10 bux at most, says it does the same as an ecu upgrade.... is this thing worth it, i mean seems little odd that it just came out and its only like 5 bux, 5-20 claimed horsepower, doesnt hurt the engine, i dunno what to think, i meanpepole ae trying to get rid of eletric turbos??? lame.

The kit is a resistor that goes across two wires in your ECU. rather than try to figure it out on my own, I ordered one for $5.

when I get it, I'll post my "version" of the instructions and what resistor to use. you should be able to buy the resistor for a couple cents.

I'll also take it down to the track and find out if it does anything for my times.

if it is just a resistor, maybe you could use a variable resistor (potentiometer) for fine tuning to your car.

yeah, that wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I'll just learn the range and get a pot that covers it. that would allow you to quickly return to stock without having to uninstall anything.

Upon further research, I found out that they already make a variable model.

There isn't one listed for 240s though. I think there was last night.
