If your timing chain guides broke and you keep driving it you'll screw up your engine so badly you'll have to replace or rebuild the engine. The timing chains drive the overhead cams and if the guides break the chain becomes loose allowing the chain to skip teeth. This would then cause the valves to be out of time with the pistons and could even cause a condition known as bent valves. If you suspect the engine is burning coolant then after you fix the timing chain problem run the car until it's warmed up then have someone rev while you smell the exhaust. If it smells sweet you're burning coolant. You could also have an external leak and that's trickier to detect but you could get a dye kit to help.
If your oil is low but there aren't any puddles below the car then it was likely low before you noticed. Top it up and monitor it closely.
