Hey guys,I am finishing up the rebuild on my KA-DE and I need help diagnosing a problem. When timed to what my factory service manual describes, also the same way that Jim Wolf Technology describes, my head clatters like nothing else. At first I thought that meant there was no oil getting to the top of the head but that is not the case. So someone told me it might be valve tap on the exhaust side. So clearly my timing is not on. Maybe that has to do with chain deflection? The way I time it, I end up getting slack at the top of the chain, between the 2 cam gears. Might that be causing me a problem? I would love any and all suggestions. Or if anyone else has another resource for how to time my engine, maybe it will describe where my deflection should be. Thanks!Angela
