alright guys i'm a new proud owner of a 1990 300zx and need a little help if you can. i bought the car pretty cheap and not looking so good, i've made a lot of progress since then but i have one hurdle i need help with: the original problem is thier isnt enough power/ acceleration especially at low rpm's. so i checked the timing and it was off by about 7 degrees. so i inspected timing belt and it was ok then i try to adjust the crank angle sensor; to put the timing mark at the proper 15 degrees i had to turn the sensor counter-clockwise almost as far as it could go! and the timing mark fluctuates by 3 degrees or so!? does anyone know if those are the sign of a bad crank angle sensor, ecu issues, or any other info will be appreciated. *oh yeah i forgot to mention the engine always cranked up fine and idled w/o any problem just not enough power!! thanks a lot

Is this an NA car? Also, did you clean the MAF and maybe run a fuel system cleaner in the car and new plugs? The hesitation in power could be one of those as well.
