I just droped in another redtop in my s13 because I blew the other one, I purchased a longbock from a local shop and the laser lense on the CAS was bent up so I swaped it with the one from my old motor and a set of hks step 1's. My car has been sitting for a week because I couldnt figure out why it wouldnt start when I have fuel and spark. To make a long story short I started tinkering with the lense alittle and it has started for the first time but runs very rough and my pfc is reading 40% of ing timing and my a/f is gauge is reading very lean. Any ideas on how my timing got so high.

The car's timing is off 180 degrees. I set mine by the FSM and it was off.

What you should do is pull the CAS, set it like you would normally set it, and then rotate the gears 180 degrees. Put it in the car, and that should get you close enough to get the car running so you can fine tune the timing.

then all i can suggest is that you double check your cam timing.
