i have an sr20det redtop and i know my timing is off... i need to know how to get my head at TDC but its sooo hard... the FSM says find the silver links but they are all silver links to me... is there an easy way to get the head to TDC without taking off the chain or cams or cam gears off??? PLS HELP thanks in advance -Dara

you don't have to pull the head. Pull the tensioner and here's the nightmare, your oil pump/front cover. Now that's something to dread. But yeah you'll need to pull that.
