Is there anyway a technician can see if the timing guides have been replaced?

Call around and find someone with a borescope and look in the inspection port on the front cover... or call Infiniti with the VIN.

Trust me, it can't be done. Wes spent a whole weekend living inside my engine compartment trying to see them. No go.

With the right tool (borescope) you can see around corners and down into holes.

You're right. I should have stated that differently....

Can't be done without an expensive and rather obscure tool!

Sorry.

Jeeeezzz...

I agree...but, can you blame a guy for looking?

I think brakes, fuel pump, and injector will all be taken care of by the end of November.

Then... ATTENTION WES... we can start on the project of restoring the active. Which, I am thoroughly excited about. Just need to get the loot together.

My BBS's are dated 3\93...

Maybe they started in 1993 with the BBS as a standard feature on the Q45a\HG50.

I know Jesda says the Pie Pans are under appreciated... and I guess he is right because I don't really appreciate them.

I don't want anything chrome. But, I would like something with a little classier look.

This is my second Q with Fittipauldi wheels (almost look like BBS). Very light also. Don't know if this was a factory option or dealer installed though.

I really have to doubt anything as strong is lighter, and that is not forged magnesium, than the forged aluminum BBS wheel. About 16 lbs.

I've got 4 Fittipaldi gold "snowflake" rims w/o the center caps.

Just in case..... PS: Had a pic.... Now it's gone!
