Hi there, I'm finally to the point of putting my DE engine back together, and have a quick question about the above mentioned seal. There were three 'seals' in my TopLine kit: they have a flat washer surface, which mates to the surface of the front cover and block, with rubber on it, then a cylindrical part that actually enters the hole in each... Hope you can understand what I mean w/out a picture: it's a T-shape. This passage connects the oil pump to the block.

Anyways, there were three sizes, and one had a 'notch' that stuck out from the side of the flat part. I put one of these in the front timing cover, and the other one in the block. There was also an o-ring, but it didn't look like it fit. I was unable to tell where the third 'washer' went with the notch. There was no other holes to put it in! Did I do this right, or did that o-ring need to go in between the two? What's up with the third one?

I just want to be sure I don't need to correct this before firing it up.

Thanks!-Jamie
