No guarantees, but yeah it should work. Looks identical to the one I just pulled off my KA24E. If you need a new timing kit, the least expensive one I've found is sold by HM Performance and was $60 shipped after plugging in the coupon code HM1 at checkout. It even came with the fuel pump gasket, distributor o-ring, and the front cover crank seal (most don't come with this stuff).

An easy way to figure out if the two front covers are the same is to go to an auto store's web site and see if the part number matches for both applications.

Hope that helps,Matt

Yes that cover and timing chain kit will work on your 240sx kae.

Btw. Those are quality parts.

Thanks again guys! I thought it was, the one I have looks identical also. I just wanted a second opinion. I contacted Nissan and they said that they cannot verify whether the part numbers are correct, so I was weary. But thanks again.

the truck ka and the 240 ka are the same on the outside. its the crank and pistons that are a little different. Your cover will fit. I have the same problem, and i'm just gonna weld the hold and put new guides and stuff in it. as long as the guide keeps the chain off the cover like its supposed to, it should work.
