I'm going to be replacing the timing chain tensioners and all that good stuff on my car soon, and when i got my new timing chain tensioners i saw that there's the little pin thing you turn to tighten and loosen it. now when i install it do i have to tighten it myself or does the tensioner tighten itself once i start the car or something. If i do have to tighten it, how tight do i tighten the tensioners? As tight as i can? and once i do that, do i leave the pin thing in there, or take it out? Sorry if this is confusing, and i appreciate any help. Thanks

That little pin is to hold the tensioner cylinder in while its in the box and while your installing. Simply install with pin inserted and when finished with chain/guides pull the pin out to release the tensioner.
