There's a separate section of the FSM for lubrication, you'll find the oil pump on LU-18:

Thanks. I was amazed when i pulled cover off. Was expecting damage. This thing looks in great shape. hate to mess with it, but with 240k best to replace parts. Getting to old to do this again. There is one thig that confuses me. I thought i would be putting sealant on the entire timing cover but i think there is only a few small spots it calls for. There is a gasket attached to block that i almost tried to remove em46. Correct me if I am wrong. i believe that stays in place. Only thing worries me is there was a small leak lower left corner. Also am not sure where o ring in kit goes. I think it is O ring number 19 on em39. not sure how to make it stay in place.
