yes i searched and i am putting my 95 de motor back together after a rebuild and i bought new upper and lower chains , upper and lower tentioners and the lower sproket that goes on the crank. i have the motor @ top dead center and the timing mark on the bottom sproket for the lower chain is located at 6 o'clock straight down and the upper mark on the idler pully comes out to 2 -3 o'clock position right in between 2 and 3. is this right ? also what mark on the idler pully do you use for the upper chain and on my new upper chain it has 1 yellow marked link and 2 gray marked links what goes where and what position should the cam shaft marks be in when you are done. all the new parts are nissan parts and things don't seem to be lining up correctly especialy the upper timing chain marks. please advise !!!!!!!!!!

the lower(crank) is right around 5:30 or 6 o'clock, the sproket on the head goes right around 2-3, the cams chain goes @ ~5 o'clock on the sproket, the intake cam goes @ 12, the exhaust cam goes @ ~3 or 4..

the first piston lobes on the intake should be pointing up(slightly to the passanger side), the exhaust to the driver side.

thanks for the help i got it right now it was my fault there is a dot on the that goes on the crank after the sprocket that points straight down at 6 o'clock that i lined my timing chain to !!!!!!!!! wrong !!! you have to put it on the mark that is on the sprocket its self which is at about 5 o'clock when i did that every thing lined up correctly as you stated above it was late and in a hurry and the mark on the crank sproket was in a shadow from the angle of the light and did not see it thanks for your help !!!!!!!!!!!!
