Timing chain lined up properly?

Last year when I was trying to get my car running it had a bad idle problem and I thought it might have to do with timing. I'm pretty sure this is set properly but can anyone verify that my timing chain is in the proper position.



Also I feel stupid asking this but on the harness are these ground connections? Is there a certain spot that these 2 connectors should be grounded?

If your motor is at TDC, then your timing chain/cam timing is correct. As for the grounding rings, yes you need to ground them. Grounding to the intake manifold or head is where they are supposed to ground, but a bolt on the firewall is the best place to ground those as it will have less resistance then going through all that aluminum.
