Hi, I just printed out the Timing Chain "how-to" from the installs page, and noticed that it was for a KA24E. I was wondering if the procedure was any different for the KA24DE, if the directions supplied there were still valid and accurate.

Of course, I realize the part numbers listed will be different. But other than that, what's the difference?

Thanks.

well, I don't think it will work, the KA24DE has a two part timming chain. What I mean is, there's a top half that goes around the sprockets of the cam shafts to a sprocket just below them. From that bottom sprocket it runs to a different chain that runs all the way down to the crankshaft, while the KA24E is just one long chain from crankshaft to cam shaft/rod. Correct me if I'm wrong guys but I think this is the main difference.
