Whats going on guys. I had a question about my time chain guide. Is the tension side supposed to be kinda tight when you tighten the bolt holding it to the block or is supposed to move freely? I dont remember since its been 2 years since I had my car. Thanks in advance.

It should move freely. If it's seized up on the bolt, pull the bolt back off and check for any burring or scoring and remove them with emory paper.

Also, you might want to try putting a little oil on the surface of the bolt as well.

I think I have the wrong bolt. It's a hex bolt that flat on top but it goes all the way down. It looks like there should be something going between the bolt and the guide. Like some kind of bearing/washer.

Nevermind, I was using the wrong bolt. I got a knock on the door about 10 minutes ago and guess what was in the box from Enjuku. A Tensioner bolt! Man, Enjuku is the SH*T!
