On the tentioner guide is there supposed to be any slack on the guide itself? When I have the bolt tight I can pull the guide about 1/8" away from the block. Any help would be great. This is the only thing keeping me from finnishing my build..

I can't move mine at all... When you installed the tensioner, did you compress it completely and clip it before installing, then turn your motor slightly backward to get it to release once it was completely installed?

OHH!! I haven't pulled my front cover so I haven't had a chance to mess with it as far as pulling it forward and back. I don't see why it would hurt anything though. Once the chain tensioner is installed, it's going to keep it tight to where it won't move like that.
