Timing chain fitting

Hey all,

I've tried to look around but haven't been able to find the required information.

I'm rebuilding my engine and would like to know the number of chain links between the camshaft timing mark and the crankshaft timing mark.

some articles say its 42 links, some say its 44 and i also saw an article saying 41....can anyone here pls specify from experience or ref?

I need the info for both L26 and L28

I think it's 44 links from one to the other, which is 42 between, if that makes sense, there should be 2 blue or gold looking links, those and the 2 that line up with the dots on the cam and crank gears
