It's doable for the novice, but it has to be done right to avoid major engine damage.
You'll be pulling out the radiator, all the accessories off the front of the engine, belts, hoses, etc., and the front engine cover to get to it.
While you're in there, it's a good idea to replace the pulley as well as the water pump and all belts/hoses since you have them off anyways.
It's definitely a doable weekend job provided you have all the parts lined up. Just work slowly and methodically and keep track of how everything comes apart.
Having an FSM doesn't hurt either. Maybe BigBird can come on and scan in the pages you'll need.
