I just recently bought an S13 240sx with a dissassembled ka and i immediately started thinking about swaps. I saw a ca18det 180sx and decided that because the block was sturdy as hell i would try it. my only concern is that it runs on a timing belt instead of a chain like a ka and an sr. Is there a way to change it over? Also i was curious if its possible to mount an sr head on a ca block? Any and all help would be appreciated.

Why would you wanna do such a thing? The answer to this is NO

Now why would you want to do such a horrible thing like that . Again the answer is NO. I suggest you do some homework and learn about these 3 engines you mention. You sound like you're either a youngster or not too knowledgeable about nissan engines, so I suggest you use the web to learn about those things that interest you to include the KA, CA and the SR.
